Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) president Ahmad Ahmad appointed Hajji Mouad from Morocco as the Administrative General Coordinator effective 27 January 2019.
According to Kawowo Sports, Mouad will coordinate all the activities of the CAF administration and also serve as the link between the CAF President and the General Secretary regarding decision-making and implementation.
” With only five months to the Total Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2019, I have decided to appoint an administrative General Coordinator to have a stronger administration and a better information flow between the political arm and the administration. Mouad Hajji’s experience in football and administration will bring the required dynamism to our institution,” said Ahmad.
During a meeting with staff, Mouad lauded the CAF President for the opportunity and confidence reposed in him, whilst assuring staff that his office will remain open towards the development of CAF.
The appointment of Hajji was also approved by the CAF Emergency Committee.
The Emergency Committee also approved the proposal to play the CAF Super Cup on March 29, 2019 in Doha, Qatar
