Singer Bukenya Ali alias Nubian Li has challenged to government to relax because they can’t stop an idea whose time has come.
Speaking via social media Channel in a thread of posts, the Nakazi songbird also criticized the looming ruling party move to change Uganda’s electoral system.
According to Nubian, turning adopting the Electoral College system where lawmakers will only be allowed to vote the Head of State is not only back-step democratically but also unfair to the mighty Pearl of Africa.
Bobi wine chief ally adds that there is no way people can claim that all is okay when the format of leadership is only focusing on clinging into power, than transforming the country.
He says president Museveni needs to style-up and think about a better Uganda than his mere selfish goals.
“How do you even start arguing that it’s okay for one to rule us for over thirty three years and continue to cling onto power! Throw away your selfishness and think more about what is better for Ugandans! Style up man!” Nubian Li noted.
It should be noted that singer Nubian Li is the self-appointed Ghetto Republic allegedly led by famous musician turned politician Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine Last week declared ambitions to contest against president Museveni in the forthcoming presidential elections in 2021 something that has intensified electoral hysteria and mixed reactions.
The duo have since the early 2000s released a thread of hitsongs like Abalungi Balumya, Kigwa Lero, Uganda Zukuka, Ndi MunaUganda, Aidah among others.
