News reaching our desk indicates that the home of famous Next Media Group (NBS TV) journalist Solomon Serwanja’s wife has been arrested.
According to our source, Last night security operatives surrounded the home of Solomon Serwanja, however when they never found him around, they instead arrested his wife Vivian Nakaliika Sserwanja.
Speaking to the Human Rights Network of Journalist (HRNJ) National Coordinator Robert Ssempala, police has also arrested two other journalists working with BBC.
“The police commander for Kampala Metropolitan Area, Moses Kafeero has told us that it’s a long story. We are following the matter.” Ssempala told this website.
All the arrested are being detained at the Central police Station (CPS) in Kampala.
