Senior presidential advisor on Media Affairs Tamale Mirundi has challenged Ugandans to stop complaining about the rise of the first son from rank to rank in the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF).
According to Tamale, no one should expect the president’s son to become a drunkard or musician like Bobi Wine.
He added that several Ugandans of spend much time on criticizing other people instead of doing productive work.
“Do you expect the General’s son to become a comedian? So whats wrong with Muhoozi getting a promotion in the army if he worked for it? You need to know that every generation has its favorites.” Tamale noted adding that If Gen Muhoozi was a ganja smoker, drunkard and causing brawls in the streets; the haters would be; how can a president fail to bring up children well?
Lieutenant General Muhoozi Kainerugaba was recently promoted by his father President Museveni. He has today been decorated together over 2000 other officers who were also elevated on different ranks.
