The Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF) has been highly criticized over the level of indiscipline depicted towards a female police traffic officer.
This followed a dramatic scene that happened at Seeta, Mukono District where UPDF officers manhandled a traffic officer identified as Esther Namaganda who stopped the vehicle they were travelling in.
The army officers attached to Uganda’s ambassador to Burundi, Maj. Gen. Kyaligonza.
However, this incident has caused a lot of commotion as the Uganda Police officers highlight issues to do with disrespect.
Though the army is still mute about the saga, the Deputy Inspector General of Police Asan Kasingye, says the incident is so unacceptable.
