Hope Radio station a local radio station in Rubanda district has been closed over unclear reasons.
The station was sealed off at the time when former presidential candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye was being hosted for a political talkshow.
According to the Forum for Democratic Change’s KCCA Councilor Ms. Doreen Nyanjura, revealed that first, the electricity was switched off, something that was followed by the switching off of the radio station in the middle of the talk show.
Besigye was escorted by Busongora North Lawmaker Hon. William Nzoghu who doubles as the FDC Western region Vice Chairperson.
The four time presidential Candidate and the entire leading opposition party are traversing different parts of the country in bid of engaging with the party members on the grass root levels.
