Kawempe beats Rubaga in girls football to qualify for the Fresh Dairy Secondary School Games National Finals

Kawempe Muslim Secondary School beat Uganda Martyrs High School Rubaga in a highly competitive game with a 2-0 Goal win during the ongoing Fresh Dairy Secondary School Games Kampala Regional Girls Football Finals.

Other wins were Kakungulu Muslim School in both Hockey Girls and Boys, Kibuli.S.S and Crane High School who won Basketball Boys while Nabisunsa Girls emerged winners of Basketball Girls.

All the winning teams in each category will take part in the National finals scheduled to take place at Mbale Secondary School from 4th to 11th May 2019.

 The Fresh Dairy Secondary School games which have attracted over 2500 secondary school students across the country are tackling various disciplines to include:

Marketing Manager Fresh Dairy – Vincent Omoth thanked Uganda Secondary School Sports Association for overseeing the management of the games throughout the country.

He noted that Fresh Dairy’s sponsorship essentially serves to nurture the sporting talent of youth while highlighting the need for health and nutrition using Fresh Dairy products. ‘Fresh Dairy believes in developing a complete individual in terms of Sports, Academia and Health,’ he said.

The Wakiso District Finals will take place at Wakisha Resource Centre for Football Girls and Basketball boys & girls on 13th April 2019.
