The Uganda Police has finally given green light to the Kyadondo East singing lawmaker Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine to hold his Easter holiday music shows.
This is according to an April 15 letter by the police director of operations, Asuman Mugenyi.
The letter addressed to Bobi Wine’s promoters Abitex management asks for the number of revellers for each of the events, measures put in place for crowd control and proposed traffic management.
“Police has taken note of your intended events, however for comprehensive security planning, there is need for the following information from you the organisers; clearances to use the intended venue, detailed programme for each activity and lists of performers at each venue,” Mugenyi wrote.
Bobi Wine’s Easter Monday show is at his One Love Beach in Busabala, Wakiso District, and he vows to threw a memorable performance.
He will then perform in Lira on May 3, Arua on May 4 and Gulu on May 5.
