PHOTOS: How World Press Freedom Day Went Down in Kampala

Today, Ugandan Journalists joined the rest of the world to celebrate the world Press Freedom Day, running under the theme Media and Elections in Uganda.

This long awaited day started with a match a round Kampala that saw media practitioners from different media houses walk in solidarity.

During the match, different Journalists called for the resignation of the executive director of the Uganda communication commission Godfrey Mutabazi for always attacking the media.

This follow a directive by Mutabazi to media house to suspend their staff over alleged breaching the minimum broadcasting standards when they offer live coverage for the Bobi Wine protest on Monday.
