Due to the continued growth and popularity of the People Power Pressure group movement led by Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine, Ghetto First Lady Barbie Kyagulanyi Itungo has swing in action to redeem husband’s constituency grassroot support.
Ever since Bobi Wine declared his intentions to run for the country’s top most office, he has been so scarce in the constituency due to endless country and international engagements something that was not going on well with his electorates.
Though this has been done through her personal NGO known as Caring Hearts, its evident Barbie is utilizing every opportunity available to see that her tight scheduled ‘sweetheart’ remains vibrant.
Yesterday, Barbie reached out to mothers of Kabubbu Village in Wakiso district.
The mothers had undergone months of training in hair dressing and tailoring under project ‘Caring Hearts Uganda’.
Barbie also visited God’s Way High School Maganjo and interacted with female students on issues concerning menstrual hygiene.
Before the closure of this week, Bobi Wine is expected to be in Amsterdam for a series of meeting donors and other Ugandans in diaspora.

“A group of teen mothers from Kabubbu village Wakiso District went through months of training in Hair dressing and tailoring under the project Caring Hearts Uganda. dubbed “skill a teen mother”. We handed over sewing machines, opened a tailoring shop for Damali Nabagereka who was one of these teen mothers and we gave out equipment used in hair dressing. it is your contribution and generosity that saw us achieve all this and we are grateful for it. We later visited God’s Way High school in Maganjo and interacted with students where we discussed issues concerning Menstrual hygiene and we did all this Yesterday 28th May which was international menstrual hygiene day. We then had a session of Counseling and empowerment where Monica the co_founder Girl Up Uganda and Diana from Diana foundation spoke to these students. We most importantly took an hour to learn a skill. Hand sewing of a reusable sanitary pad which is a skill we so believe every boy and girl should have for the benefit of themselves and the people they love. We had a beautiful day and we thank you all for contributing towards the work that Caring Hearts Uganda does,” Barbie posted.
