Parliament will today, Thursday convene at Kampala Serena Hotel for its 2nd sitting of the 4th session for the National Budget reading for Financial Year 2019/2020.
President Yoweri Museveni is expected to fulfill his constitutional mandate in accordance with Article 155 (1) of the Constitution to present the National Budget for the new financial year.
Matia Kasaijja, the Minister of Finance is expected to deliver the Budget on behalf of the President.
On May 24, 2019, Parliament approved and passed budget estimate this FY 2019/20 which is Shs40.4trillion from Shs32trillion in FY 2018/19.
