Business in Mbarara town was this evening brought at standstill over Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine’s impromptu visit.
Bobi Wine was returning from Buhweju where he comforted fellow legislator Francis Mwijukye who had lost his biological father.
On his way back, he made a stopover at Baguma restaurant for some refreshments but excited supporters could not wait for him to fish gulping a single cup of bongo.
Bobi obliged and waved to the crowds of happy people that had gathered outside, something that forced him to make a procession through the city center thus indirectly inviting police.
“By the time we were done with our meal, crowds of supporters had gathered outside the restaurant and were demanding that we wave to them. The people however stood firm and gave us protection until we left the town. Thank you Mbarara! I can promise that we shall soon come back.”
