Uganda cranes captain Denis Onyango has extended sincere gratitude to all Ugandans for the love and support offered towards the National team.
Africa’s number one goal keeper said that though the African Cup of Nations journey 2019 ended last night, but he is happy we managed to reach that far.
Onyango thanked the Head of State, Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) and the players that didn’t all they could for the Pearl of Africa.
“Our journey has come to an end thank u all for the support,
the players u have been magnificent plus the technical team and @OfficialFUFA
not to forget all the UGANDANS thank u and we love u” Onyango said.
Uganda Cranes journey at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations ended at the Round of 16 after falling to Senegal.
Sadio Mane’s first-half goal condemned the Cranes at the Cairo International Stadium on Friday night.
The Liverpool forward benefited from Godfrey Walusimbi’s error after he played in a square pass that was intercepted by Badou Ndiaye with the Cranes in transition. Ndiaye found M’baye Niang who played Mane through to slot past Denis Onyango at the quarter hour mark.
