Bobi Wine Paints Kahinda Otafire’s Home Red

Disputing the famous claims by several ruling party supporters that People Power is only in Kampala but not the upcountry, the scenes that happened in Katooma Kihunda parish Kashenshero town council Mitooma district where Firebase Crew’s fallen soldier Ziggy Wine was laid to rest brought mixed reactions.

With the Mega caravan that started in Mbarara town, Kyadondo East lawmaker’s Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine shaked the famous ruling party land.

Mitooma is the area where veteran General kahinda Otafire comes from, but yesterday it was hard to spot a yellow colour as hundreds screamed People Power slog like a lullaby.

The burial ceremony started at 11am and Bobi wine arrived at 1:10pm accompanied by Mityana municipality MP Francis Zaake, People power Spokesperson Joel Senyonyi plus other top leaders.

Bobi wine told mourners that Ziggy Wine approached him in need to join Fire base crew and when he asked him who he was, he identified himself as Ziggy Wine adding that he took over the name Wine because he always looked up to Bobi wine as a father.

Ziggy wine survived by one wife and two children whom Bobi wine pledged to help.

According to police, the musician Michael Arinda aka Ziggy Wine, 28, died in a road accident on Sunday night not murdered as family and some politicians had alleged.

Police spokesman Fred Enanga told journalists on Tuesday evening at Kampala Central police station. However people power and relatives insist Ziggy was kidnapped, tortured and died from his wounds.
