City tycoon and Rally driver, Rajiv Ruparelia has won the Mosac Autocross Championship that occurred in Kapeeka, Nakaseke District.
This Triumph comes less that four months after Rajiv joined the rally driving profession.
During this tournament that had over 30 drivers Rajiv together with his co-driver Ronnie Walia won the race by 05:18.5 ahead of the crew comprising of Ponsiano Rwakataka in second position, Ronald Ssebuguzi posted a time of 05:22.2.
In the second place was Jonas Kansiime, Christakis Fitidis came third whereas Edson Mungyereza and Andrew Musome came fourth and fifth respectively.
In June, Rajiv, son of Sudhir Ruparelia of the Ruparelia Group, emerged overall winner of the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda (FMU) Autocross championship Kayunga.
