The Ruparelia Foundation will this December break ground for the construction of sanitation facilities in Kamwokya, a city suburb.
The ceremony will take place on Friday December 6, 2019 starting at 10:00 am.
Funds for this project were realised from this year’s Royal Ascot Goat Races that took place on October 12, 2019 at Speke Munyonyo lake side.
Ruparelia Group managing director, Rajiv Ruparelia, said the cause is aimed at improving the sanitation in the slums of Kampala.
Kamwokya, which raised a presidential hopeful Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, will serve as a pilot project.
It will involve the construction of sanitary toilets at Good Samaritan High School in Kamwokya.
