MTN Starts ‘Mega Scam’, Announces Bid to Sell 1GB for 10K come 2020

Forget about the growing political pressure, where the ball is either at with the ruling party, FDC or People Power self testified ‘hooligans’.

MTN Uganda announcement this morning has gone well with Ugandans on social Media.

The South African owned telecommunications revealed plans to hike its data packages, something that has caused a lot of mixed reactions on and offline.  

According to MTN, Ugandans will purchase only 1GB data at 10,000/=. This doubles the amount at which MTN Data is sold now where 1GB Valid for 24 hours only goes for 5000.

What continues to perturb the poor Bantu Bawansi is the motive MTN using to exploit its clients at the time where its competitors like Airtel is selling 3GB at only 10,000 moreover valid for three days not 24 hours.

Launched in 1998, MTN Uganda is the leading communications operator in Uganda, offering Mobile and Fixed telecommunications, Mobile Money Services and Internet Service Provisioning. As at 31st December 2018, MTN Uganda recorded 11.2 million subscribers across Uganda.
