The Resident district Commissioner of Lira last night canceled the consultation meeting of Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine.
BobiWine was scheduled to consult his supporters on his presidential bid at Pacific hotel.
Milton Odongo says the meeting won’t be allowed because Bobi Wine failed to secure written consent on time from the hotel that is meant to host him.
He added that it would fine he doesn’t makes moves of antagonizing peace in the area.
This becomes the third meeting to be foiled by state operatives with the latest ones being one in Gulu and Gayaza that were blocked after police deployed massively at the meeting venues.
