First son Lieutenant General Muhoozi Kainerugaba this morning held strategic security talks with the Italian Ambassador in Uganda.
Speaking after the engagement, His Excellency Massimiliano Mazzanti stated that he was most grateful to presidential advisor on special military operations.
He added that the existing bilateral cooperation and exploration of other fields for partnership’s expansion in a very cordial atmosphere!
Mazzanti is also the designated Ambassador to Rwanda and Burundi.
Muhoozi noted that Ugandan-Italian relations are historical and have always been very strong.
“We look forward to continued warm relations.I welcome him to Uganda and wish him a very successful tour of duty.” He revealed.
