Bobi Wine, Muhoozi Clash Over Power Sentiments

Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has responded to first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s alleged request from supporters to sit down and talk.

“Alot of my supporters are telling me to sit down and talk to my brother Bobi Wine,” the first son also senior presidential advisor on Special Operations said.

He added: “I have no problem talking to him, we talked in the past and were friends.”

On Friday, Bobi Wine responded: “I’m open to transparent talks with anyone but before that, you and your father should stop actions that have left many orphans, widows & torture victims.”

Bobi urged Muhoozi to first respect human rights and rule of law, saying “only free men can negotiate”.

“Remove the boot off my neck and I’ll have a voice to speak with you,” suggested the People Power Movement leader.

The first son has been in the news lately, reigniting the so-called “Muhoozi project” and then meddling in Bobi Wine issues.

People Power spokesperson, Joel Ssenyonyi, called him idle and disorderly, telling him to first advise his father [President Museveni] to hand over power peacefully.
