The Uganda People Defense Forces (UPDF) Commander Gen. David Muhoozi has today exhibited humility to venders assaulted by LDU officers.
These were some of people brutalized during an operation to effect a presidential directive banning public gathering and transport.
Muhoozi, apologized to the vendors assaulted by LDU officers during the enforcement of a presidential ban on non-food Markets and public transport on Thursday.
“No one has a right to beat any Ugandan…We could have used other means to persuade them, and they would have left. Their handling was high handed and unjust. The culprits were apprehended and will be dealt with according to the law” – He stated.
