Different people have come out to sensitize the masses on the coronavirus disease that has put the world on a standstill. Musicians, politicians, the common man and health works have all found ways of creating awareness so as to curb the spread of the disease.

Last evening Dr. Hamza Ssebunya who is a doctor and singer Rema Namakula’s husband recorded a video of himself while on duty sensitizing the public about the disease. In the three-minute video Dr. Ssebunya who is seated in his office talks to the viewers about the diseases.

He explains how the disease is contracted, how to prevent and also encourages the public to adhere to the rules set by the President of Uganda and the Ministry of Health to avoid the further spread of the disease.

Rema shared the video on her social media pages to help in spreading the message more because a number of her followers will get the information.

In Uganda today, 44 cases have been confirmed and it is important that we stay home to stay safe which is why the President partially locked down the country for 14 days on March 30, 2020.
