Singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool has described presidential aspirant Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu as a masquerader both in Music and politics.
This comments comes a day after the Kabulengane singer expressed his disappointment at the Electoral Commission for letting Bobi Wine carry on with rallies that are contrary to the COVID-19 guidelines yet politicians keep complaining about his processions while soliciting for NRM votes.
He says EC is belittling President Museveni who is following SOPs by leaving Bobi Wine to hold grand processions and endanger the public.
“It has hurt me so much that I spent a week at home. I want us Ugandans to balance things nomatter how aggrieved we maybe.”
On Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool said: I know him. He is in my book, that’s where he is playing. I’m ready to engage him because he is a masquerader.”
Bebe who was Tuesday night appearing on NBS “Uncut” show, said he has drained his bank accounts and made a contract with youth.
“I will go back to the field with alot of energy to challenge Bobi Wine.”
He says this is a competition between musicians.
“Bobi Wine has no competition with President Museveni. That’s just a dream. He has no competition with President Museveni,” he reiterated.
From now on, Bebe also swore to defy SOPs if EC doesn’t do anything about this.
“Whether police arrests me or government charges me with offences, I have decided to defy. I will go to villages and campaign too.”
He castigated youth and National Unity Platform supporters for being impatient.
“The president that you are so much against, how long does he have? Can’t you be patient for the next 10 years? Do you think Museveni will be in power for another 30 years? Why are you impatient? You are just 18 or 28, are 10 more years too much for you?” he queried.
