Teargas, bullets as NRM fans sabotage Amuriat in Tooro
Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate Patrick Amuriat Oboi’s supporters were teargassed in Rweihamba town Tuesday morning, where they had gathered to listen to their candidate’s pledges.
Police fired tear gas and live bullets at the supporters of Amuriat who was supposed to campaign in Fort Portal as he traverses the Tooro sub-region for votes for the presidency.
He managed to meet the people of Kasenda Sub-county in Kabarole district at Nyabweya Primary School.
He promised to build a technical school and a health center in their community once voted into power.
