Photos of apartments which were linked to Health Ministry Permanent Secretary Diana Atwiine are being circulated on social media again.
Located in Kyaliwajjala, the apartments belong to a one David Musoke, a Kampala businessman.
The apartment block which boasts 14 units was being promoted online by Shanney Properties Uganda Limited.
“I don’t know why my apartments are being linked to anyone else,” said Musoke, a real estate entrepreneur.
“I constructed these apartments for a period of three years using my money. I am not into politics. People should stop dragging me into their wars,” he added.
Asked why of all people his apartments were being linked to Atwine, Musoke responded: “I really don’t know. I think someone saw them on the internet as we promoted them and then claimed they belonged to someone else.”

Pressed to show the source of income to build the apartment block, Musoke, 53, said he has been building such structures for the last 16 years.
He also showed reporters records of buildings he has built and sold to various customers including Ugandans living in Australia, London and UAE.
“Don’t mix me in your politics,” he emphasized.
Last year, pictures of the same apartment block appeared on WhatsApp groups with some claiming they were bought with money stolen during the 2020 COVID-19 response.
“The negative forces will always be there but we have higher calling and duty to do,” said Atwine at the time.
“The challenges are many that lie ahead. Let us press on,” she added.
