National Unity Platform (NUP) party leader Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine has broken silence on the unfortunate attack of Mukono’s Betty Nambooze.
Speaking in a comment made via his social media Platform, the former presidential aspirant spilled secrets leaving government in a space to carry blame.
“I have learnt with shock about an attempt on the life of Hon. Betty Nambooze Bakireke by machete-wielding attackers who held her hostage in her bedroom in the wee hours of today morning. I am comforted, however, by the fact that save for the terrifying experience, Hon. Nambooze survived without any serious physical injuries.” Bobi Wine stated.
“I spoke to Hon. Nambooze earlier in the day and deeply empathized with her and her family about the incident. He added as the public kept on asking a thread of un answered questions.
On a special note Bobi Wine demanded that culprits should be brought to book.
“I pray that they find the strength they need to recover from it. We hope that concerned authorities will investigate this matter to it’s logical conclusion and bring the attackers to book.” Bobi Wine Concluded.
