The F1 Race Where Only Six Cars Participated

Formula 1 is a sport that offers lots of thrill and excitement. In all its races it is possible to feel the adrenaline rush of the drivers. It is possible to make safe online betting with 1xBet bookmaker in all the Formula 1 races.

The 2005 Grand Prix of the United States was a particularly strange one. In that season there were 20 cars in total. However, only six of them participated in the race. The reason why this happened is related to a scandal related to Michelin tyres. Only the squads with Bridgestone tyres decided to participate. They were:

  • Minardi;
  • Jordan;
  • and Ferrari.

The issues with the Michelin tyres during this race were a huge scandal that sent shockwaves all across motorsports. All races are available for online betting with the safe 1xBet bookmaker, which features hundreds of different events and options.

Dangerous tyres

There were many accidents that involved cars with Michelin tyres prior to the beginning of the race. During the Friday practice, Ralf Schumacher had a particularly nasty accident, which prevented him from being at the event. Other drivers were also affected by the quality of the tyres. Before the beginning of the Formula 1 races, the http://1xbet.ng/en/casino/ site awaits with great chances to win, which are given by its great games.

The squads wanted an explanation from the tyre provider. Michelin stated that all cars equipped with their tyres needed to make speed adjustments during the race. If they didn’t slow down in some parts of the track, the tires could burst. The drivers would need to replace the tyres more frequently during the race to avoid this issue. Of course, since the cars with Bridgestone were not affected by the problem, they would have an advantage in the race. While these races take place, visiting the 1xBet casino and its hundreds of games can offer a thrill comparable to the one offered by these Formula 1 events.

Desperate attempts

Michelin tried to convince the FIA to put a chicane in certain parts of the track. However, this was refused, alleging that it would be unfair and unsafe to change the layout of the track only hours prior to the beginning of the race. All these races are available at https://www.1xbet.ng/en/live/. Here users can place all kinds of wagers on all drivers.

Eventually, all 20 cars made the formation lap. However, only six of them participated. The winner of the race was Michael Schumacher of Ferrari, and the second one was his teammate Rubens Barrichello. The excellent betting website 1xBet has wagering chance in all Formula 1 races.
