The former Member of Parliament of Aruu County has traded insults on social media for equating popular comedian Mr. Bean to Bobi Wine.
This was after Otto lashed out at the leader of National Unity Platform (NUP) Robert Kyagulanyi, for being unable to ensure the progress of the youth.
“I met a group of Africans in Spain who travelled to Uganda to meet @HEBobiwine, the government here following fatal riots with blacks have kind of transformed the Ghetto youth they now have representation in the local council and have shops to sell their artisan products,” Otto tweeted.
The former legislator was unsparing in his criticism of mass movements as conveyour belts of popular change.
“Ghetto movements are global and need space, jobs housing etc.The malcontent sendentaries are a critical mass of desperados “nothing to loose everything to gain” However there is no available history of Presidency to Ghetto. Not even the richer than the country Wycliffe Jean,” he opined.
“Leadership is not about fame, if it was fame “Mr Beans” would be UK Premier. Leadership is not about experiment of those with fanciful views of the world, this experiment of politics involves human lives . The wave of artiste in Uganda joining politics will aslo come to pass,” he added.
He then prescribed political solutions to NUP which serve as a course correction.
“NUP needs to reorganise if they are to go far. A NUP MP I mentioned the name on my Facebook page told me “they know @HEBobiwine can’t go far with his bid but at this stage he is good to increase opposition numbers in parliament…its a build up struggle ” to that extent I agree,” he concluded.
Otto, who is also a lawyer by profession recently took a International Masters in Sports Law Enforcement in Madrid, Spain, recently retired from politics saying he regrets all the time he had spent in politics.
