Chelsea Football Club Legend Didier Drogba has arrived in Rwanda, East Africa.
The celebrated star joins other legendary figures to name 20 baby Gorillas at the #KwitaIzina 18th edition.
According to Drogba, It Always feels good to be back in Rwanda and this time for a special occasion.
“I’ve been honoured, in front of 50000 Rwandese to name a newborn gorilla during the 18th @kwita.izina ceremony. The name I gave him is Ishami which means “OFFSPRINGS “
This name was chosen to showcase the importance of the newborn gorillas as “offsprings“ that symbolises expansion and growth!!
Welcome to the World baby Ishami can’t wait to meet with you.” He stated in a social media post.
