The Uganda Wildlife Conservation and Education Centre has entered a platinum Jubilee Anniversary.
In bid to mark the 70th Anniversary in a style, The Executive Director Dr.James Musinguzi revealed that the celebrations will take three months.
The celebrations will run under the theme: “Building on the illustrious journey of Wildlife conservation education for sustainable development.”
” We would like to reflect on where we have come from, where we are and where we are going as we continue to contribute to the Social Economic transformation of our country,” said Dr.James Musinguzi, Executive Director UWEC in his remarks.
Dr. Musinguzi added that Effective Friday 30th September until December 2nd, UWEC will hold various events in celebration of the platinum Jubilee program.
Events include; Vet camp, Exhibition, Conservation Education conference, Sports Gala, Community Outreach, and gala dinner.
