Dubai Authorities Free Bobi Wine After 12 Hours of Incarceration
Ugandan Opposition fugure Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has regained freedom after 12 hours of incarcerated.
Authorities in Dubai had detained the former presidential aspirant over issues yet to be known.
According to Bobi Wine, the Detention was due to the planned charity caravan he was attending in Dubai.
“After 12 hours of waiting (from 8:30pm to 9:30am) I’ve been finally allowed to proceed into Dubai.” Bobi Wine said via his twitter handle adding that he Hopes that their charity concert, which seemed to be the source of these issues, will be allowed to proceed.
“We are only trying to raise awareness and assist the many Ugandan and African Immigrant workers.” Bobi Wine said.
