Several Youths who were arrested this morning as they tried to march to the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda have been remanded to Luzira Prisons
They were this afternoon paraded before the Nakawa Magistrate court and remanded until July 30, 2024.
Among the remanded are Faiza Salima aka Faiza Fabs who works at KFM and NTV, Thomas Kanzira Bernard Olupot aka Beewol and others.
Other protesters are still detained at several police stations in Uganda.
