Drugs Express Takes Charge at UMC Fortportal Rally with Stunning Performance

The weekend saw a thrilling showdown at the UMC Fortportal Rally, where Equity Bank’s sponsored Drugs Express Rally Team put on an impressive display of skill and determination.

The duo of Dr. Moustapha Mukasa and Mwambazi Lawrence clinched first place in the Division One Category and secured a commendable third overall in the grueling event.

In a dramatic series of events, Dr. Mukasa’s stellar performance at the rally has catapulted him to the forefront of the National Rally Championship (NRC), making him the new leader with a striking 224 points.

His remarkable feat included a 45-point haul from the Fort Portal rally, allowing him to narrowly surpass fellow competitor Ronald Sebuguzi as the season approaches its thrilling climax.

Dr. Mukasa’s strategic prowess throughout the event showcased his experience and resilience, traits that have now placed him in a strong position as the frontrunner in the championship race.

Fans and fellow competitors have taken notice, as Mukasa’s ability to navigate the challenging terrain of Fort Portal has solidified his reputation as a rally master.

The Drugs Express team’s performance not only highlights their individual talent but also underlines the growing prominence of the rally scene in Uganda, with Equity Bank’s support proving vital to their success this season.

With the NRC leaderboard heating up, all eyes will now be on Mukasa and his team as they gear up for the final stages of what has proven to be an electrifying rally season.
