Singer Alexander Bagonz aka Apass has lashed at Ugandans undermining Bebe Cool to change their attitude and accept the reality.

Speaking while appearing on a televised interview, singer Apass made it clear describing Bebe Cool as one of Uganda’s biggest exports and succefful Musician who have achieved it all.

The Mariana hit maker stated that Bebe Cool has reached a level of wealth that allows him to focus on music purely for legacy, rather than financial reasons.

“First of all, the Bebe Cool is very rich, rich to a fact that he is no longer dependent on income from streaming or live performances, having firmly established himself as a respected figure in the music industry. Bebe can afford to record a song in any studio and do a collabo with any artist across the continent without hustle, unlike other artists.” APass said.

Apass emphasized that it is unfair to compare Bebe Cool to younger artists like Joshua Baraka, who are currently enjoying success in the music scene. “Bebe Cool has a network of veteran artists across the continent and can collaborate with anyone at any time,” he stated, pointing out the unique position Bebe Cool occupies within the industry.

This statement follows the release of Bebe Cool’s latest album, Break the Chains, which features hit tracks like “Circumference.” The album has been well-received across various media platforms, showcasing Bebe Cool’s continued relevance.

At the album launch, Bebe Cool expressed his ambition to make a significant impact on the African music landscape. “This is a new dawn for Africa,” he proclaimed, highlighting his goal to challenge the status quo and create music that resonates on a continental level. He views this new phase in his career not just as personal growth, but also as a pivotal moment for African culture.

The single “Circumference” aims to redefine expectations of Ugandan music with its innovative sound. Bebe Cool explained that the creative process involved collaboration between his Ugandan team and international contributors, resulting in a diverse and professionally crafted sound. “I have always made it a point to create good and memorable music,” he said.

When asked about the timing of his album release, Bebe Cool clarified that his motivation is driven by passion for music rather than a need to prove himself. “I’ve got absolutely nothing to prove,” he asserted. Instead, he aims to celebrate African culture and its people, particularly through “Circumference,” which he describes as an ode to the beauty and strength of African women.
