The health of opposition leader Kizza Besigye has taken a turn for the worse, with his condition described as “worrying and unstable” by medical personnel.
According to Ronald Muhinda, Besigye’s aid, the opposition leader was admitted to a private clinic in Bugolobi, a Kampala suburb earlier today, where he is receiving treatment for his deteriorating health.
Muhinda revealed that he had spoken to a medic at the clinic, who expressed concern over Besigye’s physical weakness and unstable condition.
“The medic told me that their duty is to stabilize him to the best of their abilities, but beyond that, it’s out of their hands,” Muhinda said.

Besigye’s health issues have raised concerns among his supporters and the wider opposition community, who have been calling for his release and access to proper medical care.
The opposition leader has been at the forefront of the struggle for democracy and human rights in Uganda, and his health woes have sparked fears for his safety and well-being.
