The Ministry of ICT & National Guidance, in collaboration with the Uganda Communications Commission, hosted a heartfelt Iftar dinner for its staff and Muslim stakeholders as part of a commitment to fostering unity and inclusivity within the community.
The event served as a significant opportunity for reflection and engagement, highlighting the Ministry’s dedication to recognizing and celebrating diverse cultural practices.

Chris Baryomunsi, the Cabinet Minister expressed his appreciation for the values of compassion, generosity, and togetherness that this sacred month embodies.
“We believe in the importance of creating a supportive environment for all, and this Iftar dinner reinforces our commitment to inclusivity,” Baryomunsi said.
“We need to reflected on the importance of moments like these. We weren’t just sharing food; we were celebrating our shared humanity during Ramadan. A heartfelt thanks to all the distinguished guests whose presence enriched the gathering. Such events remind us of our commitment to unity and charitable actions during this sacred month.” Said the Uganda Communication Commission Executive Director Hon. Nyombi Thembo.
