Airtel Uganda has ignited excitement in Kabale Municipality with the launch of five new network sites, set to revolutionize the region’s digital landscape.
This significant investment is part of Airtel’s ongoing efforts to enhance network coverage and provide seamless connectivity to its customers.
The new network sites will serve several areas in Kabale, including Kyetobokeire, Kekuubo, Nyabushabi, Rwakabara, Ahakempu – Katuna road, Irimbo – Katuna Road, Mwanjari, and Kigongi.
This expansion is expected to greatly improve network quality, providing faster internet speeds, clearer calls, and enhanced overall connectivity.
Airtel Uganda’s Sales Director, Mr. Wongani Muthayi, emphasized the company’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and supporting economic transformation through reliable connectivity.
“Connectivity is more than just a service; it is a gateway to Cross Border regional trade, education, business growth, healthcare, and financial inclusion,” he said.
The launch event was attended by Kedress Mutabazi, the Kabale Municipality Deputy Mayor, who expressed her gratitude to Airtel Uganda for expanding its network to support the growing economic activity in Kabale.
“We have known Airtel for being affordable, but the network was a challenge. For finally thinking about this and fixing it, I applaud you,” she said.
