A prophet drowned and was later torn apart by crocodiles while being baptised in a South African river. According to the UK’s Daily Mail, the victim’s remains were discovered on Sunday, January 21, surrounded by crocodiles in Limpopo’s Olifants River. Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, a police spokesperson, said the late preacher was praying with two others when he suddenly encountered problems and perished in the crocodile-infested river. Fierce fighting between the March 23 Movement (M23) and the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC), militia coalition under their umbrella Wazalendo (Patriots), and troops under Southern African Development Community (SADC) troops have continued in Mweso town, North Kivu province.
