MTN Uganda, through the MTN Foundation, is once again igniting a wave of positive social change with the launch of the second phase of its MTN Changemakers Initiative. This transformative program, designed to uplift and empower communities across Uganda, comes with a significant investment of UGX 500 million. Rebecca Cheptegei, a Ugandan long-distance athlete, has tragically passed away after a horrific attack that left her hospitalized in Kenya. The Swarovski Foundation has today unveiled the 2024 edition of the Creatives for our Future programme. For Uganda to achieve last mile financial inclusion, there must be special focus on the unserved and underserved. This means that there must be equitable distribution and access to financial services. Several innovators have developed and rolled out solutions aimed at democratizing savings and borrowing.
