MTN Uganda, in partnership with Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom, yesterday launched the MTN County Bicycle Races and the Enganda Football Tournament at the Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom Headquarters. These highly anticipated calendar events aim at fostering cultural preservation and social-economic transformation within the Kingdom. The National Social Security Fund has declared an interest rate of 11.5% to its members avers for the Financial Year 2023/24. The declaration was made by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development Hon Matia Kasaija during the fund’s 12th annual members meeting held in Kampala. The Kampala Labour Court has ruled in favor of John Mayende, the former Director and Head of Department at the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), ordering his immediate reinstatement after he was unlawfully dismissed by the UBOS Board of Directors. Popular cartoonist Dr. Jimmy Spire Ssentongo, has called upon Ugandans to uphold humility in everything they do.
