Rotary Uganda, in partnership with the Rotary Foundation, successfully hosted the 4th Edition of the Africa Peace Concert at Nsambya Gardens. The event raised a total of $239,000 which will go towards sustaining the Makerere Rotary Peace Centre, an institution dedicated to promoting peace and conflict transformation in communities across the continent. The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) in collaboration with the leadership of Bushenyi have amplified efforts to lay water mains that will significantly improve water supply for residents in Ruhumuro, Bitooma, and surrounding areas within the greater Bushenyi service region.
