At least 4 people have died and 15 others severely injured following an accident between a Pajero and taxi at Kabira village, Kamengo along Kampala-Masaka Highway. According to the eye witnesses, the Pajero vehicle veered off its climbing lane and collided head-on with the commuter taxi Mpigi District Commander Mr Ahmed Kimera Sseguya has attributed the accident to reckless driving and speeding. The spokesperson the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) Brig. Richard Karemire has spoken out on the recent Withdrawal of the troops from the Central Africa Republic (CAR). Brig. Kawempe South Member of Parliament Mubarak Munyagwa commonly known as Mugati Gwa Bata has on Monday morning been granted bail from the civil prison of Luzira. Munyagwa has been in confinement for 2 weeks for failure to pay 100 million shillings that belonged to a one John Baptist Maali. Justice Anglin Ssenoga the head of the Execution Division of the High Court orderd Munyagwa make a down payment of 15 million shillings to Maali and promised to have the rest of the money paid by 2nd August 2017. The Inspector General of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura has said that the rising criminality and gun violence is organized some people who travel from Kampala to terrorize places like Masaka.
