According to one of our anonymous sources revealed that they are operating on orders from above. Guests who include Dr. Nyanzi’s children who haven’t seen their mother in over a fort night are among those denied access. “In consideration Luzira prison’s rules and procedure, Wednesday is an open day for visitation for all prisoners but why is Nyanzi denied to see her people?” Makerere University Councilor Doreen Nyanjura furiously said.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged parents to protect their children against being over-exposed to cyber content that could pose dangers to them including bullying, radicalisation and corruption of morals. An Episcopal pastor was shot and killed by unknown gunmen at Gargar village in South Sudan’s Tonj State today morning, according to a local official. Speaking to Radio Tamazuj this afternoon, Tonj County Commissioner, Sabrino Philip Basia said that Pastor Mathew Mangok Alek was shot dead along the Tonj-Mapel road this morning. “Mangok left Tonj and when he was heading towards an area called Gargar near Mapel, he was killed by unknown criminals. Japan on Monday started withdrawing its troops from the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) as part of the process to end their five-year participation in the ongoing UN peacekeeping mission in the world’s youngest nation. The first group of troops to head home consists of about 70 personnel of the 350-member GSDF unit that has stayed in South Sudan from around December last year.
