The US army has deployed dozens of troops to Somalia to train forces fighting Al-Shabab Islamist militant group in the largest deployment of troops to the country since 1993, when 18 US soldiers died in a battle dramatized in the movie Black Hawk Down.   Nakyegwe Brenda, a 2nd year student of Drama and film was allegedly thrown through the window from the 4th floor of Mitchell hall (Makerere University) at 11.00pm yesterday (Saturday 15th April, 2017). Brenda who is in critical condition and admitted at Mulago Referral hospital. The suspect whose room window Brenda Nakyejju fell off from has been identified as Jeremiah Mugyema, a 26-year-old fourth year Medical Student has already been arrested . President Museveni has ordered the ministry of agriculture to put in place measures to end the importation of fake pesticides in the country. The President, who was speaking at the event to launch the Coffee Roadmap directed ministry to regulate places where farmers can buy genuine pesticides. He also ordered the ministry to ensure that Uganda achieves its coffee production target of producing 20 million bags annually by 2020.
