The Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Francis Zaake has finally narrated the unrealistic incident that happened when he landed in Uganda room India where he had traveled from specialized medication.
Zaake says that on receiving a fit to fly document, his heart got overjoyed by an imagination of reuniting with my People back home, but on learning what Security operatives had planned for him, his joy descended into agony and in attempt to avoid their plan I changed flight from Kenya to Uganda but that wasn’t successful.
“No sooner had the plane touched the grounds at Entebbe than they ordered all passengers out of the plane while blockading me. Men donning clinical courts grabbed me off the plane into their van which was ready to take off. They never let a chance even for my family members to welcome me, I was driven to Mityana at a breakneck speed in a convoy, hitting humps recklessly to the extent that by the time I reached home I was sicker than before. I saw on the video patrol vehicles hitting other road users, one of which my family compensated.” He noted.
Zaake adds that there is a working relationship between the physicians who handled his case in India and those handling it from here, by their advice he has been told to have uninterrupted rest for one week.
“I therefore wish to apologize to my visitors in advance, please don’t misunderstand me, I so much want to see you and yet complying with instructions from medics is also paramount. Equally, on the aforementioned grounds I wish to immensely apologize to the media fraternity that I may not be able to hold interviews with you, my friends during this period but on Monday 22nd October, 2018 at 10.00 am, I will invite you for a presser through which I will share with you about what transpired in Arua and the way forward.” He added.
He however thanked the People of Uganda, especially those from Mityana Municipality for welcoming me in big numbers and showing him love during the most trying times.
