The Directorthe Criminal Investigations Department of Police, Major Tom Magambo says the Police has what he describes as “very good leads” to who paid the killers of former Senior State Attorney Joan Kagezi Namazzi. Suspected assassins gunned down Joan Kagezi nine years ago. The Lord Mayor of Kampala, Mr Erias Lukwago, was yesterday flown to India’s capital New Delhi, where he will undergo a spinal surgery. Mr Lukwago, who will be treated from Medanta Mediclinic Cybercity, was referred by Mulago Hospital’s Spine Surgeon and Consultant Orthopaedic, Dr Norbert Orwotho, who in the April 13 medical report said the patient needed the surgery as soon as possible. Nobat events has revealed that he is likely to cancel Ray G’s live concert scheduled on 10th May Lugogo if the issues raised are not resolved. Norbert says that Ray G has breached the contract by collecting money through MTN Momo Pay. Authorities in Tanzania have shut down five hydroelectric stations in a bid to reduce excess electricity in the national grid, the country’s prime minister has said. Botswana’s foreign minister has told a South African TV channel that the British government approached his country to ask whether it would be willing to receive migrants deported from the UK. He didn’t say when the approach was made.
