Nobat events has revealed that he is likely to cancel Ray G’s live concert scheduled on 10th May Lugogo if the issues raised are not resolved.
Norbert says that Ray G has breached the contract by collecting money through MTN Momo Pay.
MTN Momo is offering tickets at a subsidized price as sponsorship but the money goes to Ray G (Awesome) yet Norbert as an event organiser, is the one supposed to receive every money that is paid for the concert.
Norbat Events had opted for an independent online platform Quicket for ticket sales but was told to pull it off because it was a breach of contract with MTN.
This has forced Norbert to threaten to cancel the concert if he doesn’t receive money for tickets purchased via MTN Momo Pay.
Mbarara-based music sensation Reagan Muhairwe, popularly known as Ray G, has long desired to hold a mega concert in Kampala.
