Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu has this morning been arrested by the Uganda Police force. The musician turned politician was arrested as he attempted to get access to Gayaza grounds where he had planned to host his debut presidential race consultation meeting. He is now detained at Kasangati police station in Wakiso district. Prior his arrest, Police first ordered all his supporters and event organizers to vacate the gazetted grounds before things get rough. Police narrated that they blocked the meeting after intelligence revealed that the organizers had plans to do campaigns which contravenes the law.

A US government-operated website has been hacked by a group claiming to be acting in retaliation for the killing of Iran’s top general. Those who clicked on the American Federal Depository Library Programme (FDLP) site on Saturday night were faced with a black page claiming to be from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
