The Territorial Police in Elgon Region and Sironko are investigating circumstances under which the arrest of a suspect of Aggravated Defilement, ended with a deadly shooting. According to police The incident occurred on the 12/10/2019 at around 0500/c, at Nabukalu village, Bumugwedi Parish, Busiita Sub-county, Sironko district. Although the PAP had requested and passed a budget of US$20,798,521 during its May 2019 plenary sitting in South Africa, US$16,408,177 was approved by the Executive Council of the African Union.
