Opposition leader, Raila Odinga, has faulted the decision by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission -IEBC  to hold a fresh presidential election on October 17. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has set a date for the repeat presidential election as ordered by the Supreme Court on Friday last week. According to the electoral commission, the repeat exercise will be carried out on October 17, 2017. IEBC, however, has stated that only President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga will be on the ballot. The Opposition FDC assistant Spokesperson Paul Mwiri has called upon Government to pronounce its self on the ongoing killings of Women in Wakiso District especially Entebbe and Nansana. Hon. Mwiru who was addressing Journalists at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi added that the Citizens are in great fear for their dear lives following public contradictions of IGP Kale Kayihura and Security Minister Tumikunde. So far 20 women have been gruesomely killed in the two suburbs of Wakiso district.
